We moved to Madison, KS almost four years ago in order to help plant Embrace Church in Emporia, KS in a volunteer capacity. We weren't sure how long our vocational ministry hiatus would last (I honestly thought for good), but God has been stirring our hearts, and with open and honest conversations with God, mentors, friends, and of course each other—we have confirmation and peace that we are being led back into vocational ministry!

Here's the scoop:
Pastor Mark and his family have been leading at the helm, along with a great Leadership Team, seeking God and doing some really hard work. Amazing things are being done for the Kingdom of God, like discipling lost and hurt people, and serving our community in the love and Name of Jesus! However, the church is not at a financial capacity to hire support staff, as even Pastor Mark is not paid full time.
And there is still so much work to be done!
With the blessing of Pastor Mark and the Leadership Team of Embrace church, we are being led to raise support so that I can come on staff part-time (10 hours/week during the school year and 40 hours/week during the summer) to be able to help see Embrace Church fully established with support ministries such as our new Embrace Student Ministries and to continue providing leadership and focused training to other family ministries.
To this end, we are looking to fundraise $23,000 of yearly support. With that, I will be able to be released to help carry the ministry load with Pastor Mark, as well as create new ministries that will bring glory to God in Emporia. I know, it's a big God-sized ask!
And Cassie and I are believing in Him for all of this and so much more to be done in Emporia!

I’d rather not put a number on it for you. I’d rather you talk with God, and make sure it can work for your budget, and be as generous as you are able, in obedience to God.

What’s next?
I am reaching out to other individuals and churches to partner alongside while I am working as a Bus Driver and School class aid in our local schools. The prayer and hope is that we will be fully funded by the summer to be able to facilitate youth and kids camps.
